HIMMER, Maximilian Vitalis Born 1871 New York USA, Worked Berlin Germany, died 1936 Studied the violin but an accident prevented a career as a concert player. Began making instruments in Berlin c.1900. Established in Wilmersdorf. Developed a personal model c.1905. Fine workmanship.
