CALVAROLA, Bartolomeo Worked circa. 1753-1767 Bergamo Italy. Born in Torre Baldone and active in Bergamo. Narrow model with pinched arch and extravagantly cut Staineresque soundholes. Good workmanship, but eccentric style, particularly in the extremely slender head. Golden-yellow to gold-brown varnish of good quality. Bartolomeo Calvarolla / fecit Bergamo 1762
