GUIDANTI, Floriano b. 1643/4, died 1715 Bologna Italy. Worked in the parish of San Sigismondo, moving to the Pelacani in San Mamolo, parish of Santa Cecilia in 1692. Appointed luthier to the Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna c.1665. Amatisé model with full arching and fine open-cut soundholes. Thin light-golden varnish.
