Pupil of Audinot 1882-1886. Subsequently worked for Gand and Bernardel. Established independently from 1892 at 20 rue Rochechouart, then at 27 rue de Faubourg Poissonière, and finally 37 rue de Rome. Created ‘Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur’ in 1901. — John Dilworth

selbständig. Seine Arbeit ist sehr geschmackvoll u. seine Geigen zeichnen sich durch Klangschönheit aus. Im Jahre 1901 erhielt er die Ehrenlegion.
