NEVEU, Charles Born 1863, Worked from 1881 Paris France. Established in the rue Manton-Devenest 1893-1905. Subsequently abandoned lutherie to become a commercial trader in instruments. Stradivari, Guarneri, and Amati models with good oil varnish. Ch Neveu, Luthier / Paris. Année 1897
Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Seit seinem 18. Jahre beschäftigte er sich mit dem Geigenmachen und studirte die Werke der grossen Meister. Im October 1893 eröffnete er in der Rue Manton-Duvenest No. 5 seine Werkstatt, macht hauptsächlich Nachahmungen von Stradivari’s »Messias« und verwendet Öllack.
